Apple's App Store now has a section dedicated to selfies
Believe it or not, if you’re obsessed with selfies, Apple is now making it easy for you to feed your obsession. The App Store recently added a section that promotes applications which should help you take and share the perfect selfie. Mind you, this is not a new category, but a seemingly temporary section.

NSA Director nominee wants every branch of the military to have a dedicated cyber attack force
It seems like President Obama was pretty serious about that cyber attack list he drew up last year -- his nominee candidate for NSA Director, Admiral Michael Rogers, just told the Senate that the military is building several new cyber combat units. Rogers, who is slated to both take over at the NSA and head the United States Cyber Command, spent several hours answering to the Senate Armed Services Committee this week, explaining his views on national security and his desire to be "as transparent as possible with the broader nation about what we're doing, and why." This included a detailed account of the need to create dedicated cyber attack divisions to supplement traditional ground, naval and air forces, which he says will help act as a deterrent to countries that see the United States as an easy target. "Clearly, Cyber will be an element of almost any crisis we're going to see in the future," he told the Senate. "It increasingly is becoming a norm."

Sony launches dedicated Xperia Z Ultra cases for QX lens cameras
Though Sony's crazy QX10 and QX100 lens cameras can attach to most smartphones, the company naturally favored its own Xperia Z and Z1 handsets by creating custom cases for those devices. Now it's doing the same for its crazy-large 6.4-inch Xperia Z Ultra, according to our sister Engadget Chinese site. A new attachment cover in black or white will fix either camera to its latest phablet for HK$238 (about $30) on top of the price of the QX10 ($249) and QX100 ($499). If you'll recall, that'll boost your smartphone's shooter to either an 18.2- or 20.2-megapixel monster, respectively, with the latter boasting the same sensor as the formidable Sony RX100 Mark II. It'll arrive next month in Hong Kong, and while Sony hasn't divulged availability elsewhere, we can picture it hitting the US soon as well.
