Bell says KitKat update coming by Monday to its Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Are you a Bell customer in Canada, toting a Samsung Galaxy Note 3? If so, we have some news that should put a smile on your face. A tweet from the Canadian carrier reveals that the Bell branded version of the Samsung phablet will be receiving the Android 4.4.2 update "by Monday." Bell didn't mention which Monday they were referring to, but we have a sneaking suspicion that the mobile operator means that the device will be updated by this coming Monday at the latest. Those Bell subscribers with the Samsung Galaxy S4 have just received the Android 4.4.2 update on Thursday.

Meanwhile, over at Bell's rival Rogers, the carrier has updated its website to show that its version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will receive its chocolatey update in late March. This is somewhat of a disappointment to Rogers' customers since an earlier road map from last month had this particular update listed as "coming soon."

If you are a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owner on Bell, keep your eyes peeled this weekend for the Android 4.4.2 update, coming OTA. Once you do receive it, let us know by dropping a comment in the box below.

Samsung's 110-inch Ultra HDTV is the world's largest, and it goes on sale Monday

Samsung promised at CES last January that it would deliver a 110-inch UHDTV this year, and with just a couple of days left to spare here it is. Apparently rolling out in China, the Middle East and a few European countries first, there's no word on price (the 85-inch version that launched earlier this year had a $40K pricetag attached when it launched), but can you really put a price on a TV that's bigger than a king-size bed? That's right, at 2.6-meters by 1.8-meters there's more than enough room for well-heeled VIPs or employees of large companies and government agencies (the target market for the S9110) to catch some z's on it -- and bring a few friends. It's available for custom orders just before we see the new generation of Ultra HD (including a 105-inch curved model) at CES 2014 next week, although most of us will be looking for TVs that actually fit inside our living room.

Update: Even though the set is custom order only, an Associated Press report puts the price at about $150,000 -- anyone want to get a group order going?.
